Just outside of Kompong Cham, Cambodia’s third largest city, rise the twin hills of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei, each topped by a stupa. Although not spectacular in themselves, they have a commanding view of the countryside. In particular, though, we found the murals inside the main temple at Phnom Pros to be enchanting, and worth the visit.

You can either rent a moto and driver from Kompong Cham, or do the trip yourself. The hills are 7 km outside of the city.
