Cambodia Top 5


1) Angkor Wat, alongside the pretty city of Siem Reap, is Cambodia’s biggest draw, and can absolutely not be missed.
2) Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, has lots to see, from the Grand palace, to temples, to museums.
3) Battambang, a pleasant city in the north, has wonderful colonial buildings, the hilltop temple of WatEkPhnom, and the incredible bamboo train.
4) Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s coastal city, has a number of seaside options, including scuba, kayaking, and just plain lying down at the beach. While there, check out the nearby coastal, colonial town of Kampot, gateway to Bokor Hill Station and National Park.
5) Wat Preah Vihear (Khao Phra Vihan), a magnificent 12th century Khmer temple, straddles the border of Cambodia and Thailand. Accessible only through Thailand, it is not to be missed.
